What’s exciting about our model train videos? What’s cool about our train video clips? Why should a train lover like you be interested in our railroad videos? Because our train videos have actual real train sounds that were licensed from Green Frog, and because our videos of trains are full of the type of model train action that model railroad hobbyists like best.
We know you don’t have time to go to as many model train shows as you would like to, and we know how hard it is to fit NMRA layout tours into your schedule, since they're all over the place, and not really near you all that often. Am I right?
Well, with our train videos you can go on a virtual tour of a large n-scale model railroad with enough intriguing and interesting features to satisfy the most demanding model railroad fanatic. And the sounds!!! You'll think that a humongous steam locomotive is driving right through your living room.
Even if you haven't yet gotten past the main DVD menu, you will be listening to one of the coolest steam locomotives that was ever recorded as it pans from one of your speakers to the other, taking full advantage of speaker separation to give you the feel of the real thing through our out-of-this-world sounds!
Everything you love about trains are to be found in this train video: the neatest sounds, the coolest action, the most thrilling trestle crossings and scenes. The model railroad will come alive before your eyes and ears and you'll be wanting more, more, more. But more is exactly what you'll get, since this DVD goes on for over 85 minutes! That’s much longer than most other DVDs costing more.
Anyway, to aid in your model railroad virtual tour experience, this train video will do three unique things not found anywhere else. First, it will introduce you to multi-throttle layouts, an alternate method that’s not like the standard DCC or centralized control or wireless or cab control methods.
Then it will show you our unique logging train elevator that gets logging trains that are full of logs up the mountain without being seen and logging trains that are empty down the mountain again without being seen. You see, when logging trains are full of logs these need to be seen coming down the mountain from the logging areas, and when there are logging trains that are empty, these need to be seen going up the mountain for another load. The elevator is inside a mountain with the whole railroad train riding either up (for full) or down (for empty) the mountain on the inside of the mountain. When the trains are supposed to be seen, they are crawling up or down the switchbacks which zig and zag back and forth on the face of the mountain. How else could the trains in real life climb steep mountains to get at what's near the top?
The final unique feature of our train video full of model railroad eye candy and ear candy if the moving trucks. Not just the trains on The Squirrel Valley Railroad run around the layout. The trucks are moving as well! See it to believe it! The trucks carry all kinds of cargoes, such as baked goods, gravel, coal, lumber, popcorn, pharmaceuticals, and toys. But the most unique cargo the trucks in our model train video carry is “ho”s. Yes, a vice squad truck actually picks up a load of “ho”s and carts them off to the local police station! Well, we believe in keeping the streets of our model railroads clean, and to this end there are street sweepers and vice truck sweeps. Of course, the pimps bail them out as soon as they arrive at the jail house so the “ho”s are back on the street again before you can say “curbside service.”
Thrill to the steam engines and diesels roaring over high trestles or highballing it through sleepy towns. Scream as the zombies crawl out of their graves and attack the locals because a meteor has hit near one of the train stations and a strange, alien, green blob is oozing out of it, and the blob has crawled from the meteor crater and across the street and over into the graveyard where it seems to incite the six-feet-under locals, also known as corpses, to come back alive and dig their way out of their graves and terrorize the town!
Oh yeah, I forgot, that’s a fourth totally unique feature of our train video and model railroad layout: meteors that ooze green slime and zombies that leave the graveyard in search of human blood!
This, then, is the model train video you’ve been waiting for!
